Comments:
I always see in my mind’s eye the painting by William Holmen Hunt, which hangs in Oxford, England, in Keble College. While we lived there a few years, as Stephen studied there, I got to see it firsthand. My surprise was that it was so small(!) – but I’d always known it, perhaps from being a small child in a church where it hung in one of the Sunday school rooms. That verse is lovely to inspire us to open the door to our hearts… and receive what God has us in each day.
